Welcome to the Calls For Comfort warmline. We are a peer-run, warmline calling service for Muslim women (although the Calls For Comfort is happy to serve anyone without any judgement). We are composed of compassionate peers who are willing to lend a kind ear when you need it most. You can call with the confidence of knowing that your call will be respectfully received not only with a smile, but also with a desire to listen.
You will feel validated and supported after you are embraced by the Calls For Comfort. Calls or texts, are answered by our caring team of trained volunteers offering gentle, non-judgmental and confidential support on a daily basis.

Although many of our volunteers are licensed professionals, it is important to note that none of them are working for the Calls For Comfort under the capacity of their professions. The Calls For Comfort is a warmline. It is not a hotline. In case of an emergency please call 911.

We would love to connect with you, listen to you, and learn about your life experiences. We are here, at your service, waiting for your call. We respect the fact that everyone is an individual, and therefore, will call the Calls For Comfort with a unique worldview. The Calls For Comfort values every person’s strengths, and innate values. We are hopeful that through the Calls For Comfort, people will see more possibilities for themselves after connecting with a friendly peer who is willing to take the time to listen to them and show them that they care.

The Listening Heart is a calling and/or texting service that caters to Muslim women, by Muslim women – although it is open to any female that would like/need to talk.
